SpeechTEK 2010 Targeted Training -- Multimodal Applications Using EMMA
Extensible MultiModal Annotation (EMMA) provides a common language for communication among system components, enabling plug and play of technologies from different vendors and rapid prototyping and iterative development of multimdoal interfaces. In this hands-on tutorial, particpants will use a cloud-based multimodal server supporting EMMA (AT&T Speech Mashup) and the Deutsche Telekom EMMA implementation to learn how to build multimodal applications with EMMA that incorporate advanced features such s multimodal dialogue confirmation and fusion of multiple input modalities. Participants will also see simple ways to use EMMA with spreadsheets to gain insights from logged data using the Conversational Technologies EMMA implementation. This page includes some of the links that will be used in this tutorial.
