Author Information

Full Chapter Submission Procedure

Authors of accepted abstracts can submit their full chapters on EasyChair, with the link:

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mmistandards2015

Full chapters must be submitted by January 15, 2016.

The chapter should not exceed 25 pages with respect to Springer format.

All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a single-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for other authors' chapters.

Manuscript Guidelines and Formatting

Springer publishes books in several formats (eBook, printed copy, ePub for iPad, Kindle edition etc.). Producing a book in several formats is taken into account in the preparation of the manuscript and means that all (Word, LaTeX, etc.) manuscript files received will be converted to XML and re-formatted according to the Springer style. Consequently, it is not necessary to spend time on formatting details. However, there are some key style points on manuscript structure, figure resolution, reference style etc., which will speed up the publication process for the book. For details please visit the Key Style Points on springer.com. Springer provides Word and LaTeX tools for manuscript preparation.

Abstracts and keywords

Optimized keywords and abstracts help ensure that your work is found through any relevant online search. To facilitate online searching, using e.g. Google, please provide an abstract (and keywords) for each of your chapters. Abstracts will also appear online at SpringerLink.com with unrestricted access and enable unregistered users to read the abstract as a teaser for the complete chapter.

Forms

If excerpts from copyrighted works (including websites) are included in your manuscript, please obtain permission from the copyright holder, using the permission form provided by Springer. You will also need to submit a "permission to publish" form and an "affiliation form". These three forms can be downloaded here.

Note that the forms have been updated as of March 18, 2016, so if you downloaded the forms before that date you will need to download them again (the new form is a new version of the "permission to publish" form).
